A Tory MP has criticised the Government s Home For Ukraine scheme as it emerges that fewer than half of MPs who offered to take in refugees have been able to get them into the country.
Anastasia Taran, a waitress working in Irpin prior to the invasion, claimed conditions in the Russian-occupied town are like hell and alleged the invaders engaged in horrific treatment of locals.
Lesia Vasylenko, an MP for Ukraine s opposition Holos party, said some women over 60 had committed suicide after being accused by Putin s forces to stop the horrific attacks.
