Seven Ukrainian civilians were gunned down in a shootout between fighters of Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov and “commandant office” soldiers of the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian settlement of Urzuf on the Azov Sea, said an advisor to the Ukrainian mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, on Telegram on Aug. 13.
At least 10,749 Ukrainian civilians, including 499 children, have been killed since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, Yurii Bielousov, the head of the War Crimes Department of Ukraine's Prosecutor General's Office, said in an Aug. 2 interview with Interfax Ukraine.
