State budget revenue has reached over 1.3 quadrillion VND (59.5 billion USD) so far this year, representing 91.14 percent of the annual estimate,
according to the Deputy General Director of the State Treasury, Nguyen Quang
Vinh.
Domestic collections hit 1.16 quadrillion VND,
or 92.29 percent of the annual plan. Revenue from crude oil totalled over 33.9 trillion VND, equivalent to 96.52 percent
of the plan. Imports and exports contributed 176.7 trillion VND to total revenue, or 84.96 percent
of the yearly estimate.
State budget expenditure stood at 993.7 trillion VND, equal to 88.9 percent of the annual estimate of recurrent expenditure of
the State budget through the Treasury, excluding payment of debts, assistance,

Moody s recently announced its rating upgrade on
Agribank s long-term
foreign-currency deposit rating from B1 to Ba3.
Agribank has been assigned Ba3 for
issuer rating and ratings for long-term domestic and foreign currency deposits,
equivalent to Vietnam s national ratings. The outlook for Agribank s ratings of
issuer and
long-term deposits is negative, equivalent to the negative outlook
for Vietnam s national rating.
According to Moody s assessments,
Agribank has made remarkable progress in handling legacy problem assets in
recent years, contributing to improving asset quality stability.
Its capital mobilisation and liquidity are
at good level, mainly from individual customers and less affected by market

United Nations (UN), has reaffirmed the country’s backing
for Afghan-led peace process, including the engagement of women and youths.
Addressing a virtual UN Security Council briefing on the
Afghanistan situation and operations of the UN Assistance Mission in
Afghanistan (UNAMA) on December 17, Quy said that the continued support of
UNAMA, regional countries and other international partners will be crucial to
maintaining the momentum of peace talks in Afghanistan.
He urged all parties to fully respect international
humanitarian law, immediately stop targeting civilians and allow unhindered access

Hanoi (VNA) – The
Malaysian Ambassador to Vietnam Sharifah Norhana Syed
Mustaffa on December 17 handed over donations from the
Malaysian Government and businesses to help victims of the recent serious
flooding in Vietnam’s central region.
The
donations included 25,000 USD from the Malaysian Government, goods
worth 22,000 USD from the association of Malaysian businesses in Vietnam and
5,000 USD from Gamuda Land group.
