KUALA LUMPUR, April 21 Several parties especially health and education experts are worried about the possibility of Covid-19 cases spreading in schools when face-to-face teaching and learning is fully implemented.
With 4,868 positive cases and 83 clusters of Covid-19 involving the education sector nationwide from January 1 to yesterday (Tuesday), the people especially parents are anxious so much so some are proposing for all schools be closed and return to home-based teaching and learning (PdPR).

UALA LUMPUR, April 19 A total of 443,029 people have received both doses of their vaccine shots as of Sunday (April 18) under the first phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.
According to an infographic uploaded by Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba on his official Twitter site today,, 701,812 people have received the first dose,bringing the total number of first and second doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered in the country now to 1,144,841.

KUCHING, April 17 The second phase of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in Sarawak will start in Sibu Division on April 19 before going to other divisions, state Health director Dr Chin Zin Hing said today.
He said a total of 924 persons are expected to receive the vaccines at the Indoor Stadium in Sibu on that day.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 10 The Human Resources Ministry agrees that employers grant their employees leave to take Covid-19 vaccine shot.
Its Minister, Datuk Seri M. Saravanan said the leave would give confidence to Malaysians to be vaccinated as some are still worried about the jab.
“However, it depends on the employer to give leave as the government cannot declare a special holiday as it is not carried out on the same day,” he said at a media conference after attending the launch of Functional Adaptive Clothing by Social Security Organisation (Socso) here today.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 A total of 279, 023 individuals in the first phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme have completed receiving both doses of their vaccine shots as of yesterday.
Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba said 508,481 individuals were given the first dose during the same period, bringing the total number of doses administered so far to 787,504.
