Most shoppers are used to seeing products marked as organic, non-GMO or fair trade in grocery aisles, but soon they’ll encounter a brand new label: upcycled certification.
For food, the seal a simple design of black text with a green leaf will mark items made with ingredients that otherwise would have gone to waste and have a positive impact on the environment.
