The Bukono County legislator who was asked to step aside from her office, insists that Parliament acted like a mob against her as she was not given a fair hearing during the debate and adoption.
The directive followed the findings by the Ad hoc committee instituted to investigate the controversy that implicated Minister for Lands Persis Namuganza in abuse of office in illegal allocation.
Ms Beatrice Byenkya Nyakaisiki, the suspended commission chairperson, has been at loggerheads with her commissioners led by Prof Nyeko Pen-Mogi, with accusations of engaging in corruption.
