In November 2021, the Quebec government announced an investment of $10.7 billion over the next five years to provide financial aid to students across the province through the Quebec Perspective Scholarship program. Students in specific fields of study could now be eligible for anywhere from $9,000 to $20,000 all as a way to combat the lack of personnel in various Quebec industries.
The Government of Canada recently sent out a reminder to Canadian students regarding post-secondary student grants that can help pay tuition costs. With the fall semester well underway, Canada's Minister of Employment Carla Qualtrough tweeted out that there is still financial support available for students from the federal government.
