Illegal Colonies: They dismantled their roads, boundary walls, passages, street lights, sewer manholes and other constructions. The five unauthorised colonies were located at villages of Daad, Lalton, Jhande and Thareeke.
Under this policy, standalone buildings of educational, medical, commercial, farm houses, religious, social, charitable institutions, industries constructed outside municipal limits, outside Urban Estates and outside industrial focal points in the state will be covered.
Glada chief administrator Sagar Setia said that as per guidelines, the promoters are required to obtain licence from the authority after registering under Rera.
The officials dismantled roads, passages as well as other illegal constructions and structures on these sites. Of the five unauthorised colonies, two were situated at Bholapur village and one each at Tajpur village, Bhamian Kalan and Kulianwal respectively.
Notably, the allottee circulated an image on social media wherein he used the names of chief minister-cum-chairman, Glada; Glada authority; chief administrator, Glada and senior town planner, Ludhiana, thanking them for the technical approval of building plans issued on August 1.
