Meghan Monteiro may be Palm Beach Day Academy’s new director of philanthropy, but she’s not new to Palm Beach.
She and her three older siblings were born at St. Mary’s Medical Center, where her mom spent her entire career, starting as a neonatal intensive care nurse and working up to chief operations officer.
Monteiro grew up in West Palm Beach’s south end, in the house her parents live in today. She attended Rosarian Academy from pre-K to eighth grade and graduated from Cardinal Newman High. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and studio art at the University of Vermont.

We are grateful to these nonprofit organizations that provide crucial services in our community. Their dedication helps improve the lives of area children and families.â
