The Meteorological Department states that the sun will be directly above the latitudes of Sri Lanka from today (04) until 14 April.
Accordingly, the sun will be over Thelwatta, Baddegama, Dediyawala, Mulatiyana, Angunakopelessa and Udamalala areas today (05).
The Meteorological Department stated that due to this there could be extreme temperatures in 10 districts which should be taken into consideration.
