Uchena Anya, 38, from Nigeria, was found guilty of possession of the drug in circumstances denoting it wasn’t for his personal use, conspiracy to traffic drugs and money laundering by Magistrate Neville Camilleri. The case revolves around a controlled delivery carried out by the police on 27 November 2010. The consignment of drugs was halted after a Romanian man, Attila Somlyai, was caught carrying 60 capsules containing around 600g of cocaine in his stomach at the airport the day before.
