Crews have been cleaning up the power lines. Reporter good morning. We found the power lines that fell this morning, causing the major traffic backup. You see the power lines on the ground. They were stuck in the tree. There was a bunch of workers below the transformer that were involved in the incident. Around 5 30 a. M. A crane that was involved in this Bart Lafayette track rebuilding work took down the power lines. They ended up falling along westbound lanes of highway 24. All lanes closed for nearly an hour. The lanes finally reopened and the traffic is moving again. But there is a lot of work to be done. 115 people in the area are without power this morning because of this. Beach, florida. It continues to pound the bahamas. They are seeing the devastation and the cars and boats destroyed in the bahamas. And thousands of homes severely damaged. It was a 75foot dive boat. The captain and four other people were able to escape or rescued. The boat ultimately sank after taking on water. The reports indicate that the 34 people unaccounted for were asleep below deck when the boat caught fire. It is named conception that left for a three day trip, taking divers to an island. And todays snow survey found the Sierra Snowpack at 14 of average while statewide its 27 of average. David louie is live with a look at the big picture and a glimpse of what we can expect this year. Theres no question people have been enjoying a string of warm and sunny days, heading out to trails and parks like this one. But there is concern that ha significant dry spell could imperil our water supply. However, the Water District says its a bit early to use word drought. The reservoirs owned and operated bit valley Water District. Theyre primed to capture runoff. But stretchesf sun and warm temperatures have some people wondering about another drought. A trodrought means theres a wa supply shortage. We dont have a water shortage because of the good work our communitys done to conserve water. O
