Deadly storms. Good evening. Breaking news tonight in a violent weather system moving across the south. We learned in just the past hour seven people were killed in alabama this evening. This is new video of just one of the tornados it hit tupelo mississippi five hours ago. Mississippi and alabama are the hardest hit today. The same Severe Weather system left 16 people dead yesterday. Much of the south is bracing for the warnings to take shelter. This is one meteorologist in tupelo while on the air told everyone to get to safety immediately. Everybody, basement now. Basemen. He then walked off the set. In addition to tornadost, hail and Straight Line winds are going through the region. Were in our Weather Center tracking the news. Lets jump into the radar and well look at the life threatening storms moving through. You can see a very Straight Line moving from areas of mississippi through alabama and into tennessee. It looks like ABC is making an L.A. Law sequel series with Blair Underwood which ran on its rival, NBC from 1986 – 1994.
Underwood will be coming back and playing his former role as Jonathan Rollins, attorney at law. The series is being written by Marc Guggenheim and Ubah Mohammed with Anthony Hemmingway directing.

“In this new take on “L.A. Law,” McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney and Kuzak, the West Coast-based law firm at the heart of the original, is reinventing itself as a litigation firm specializing only in high profile, boundary pushing and incendiary cases. Sources say that Underwood’s character has changed from an idealistic figure to a more conservative one in the intervening years since the original. The sequel will see him clash with a millennial character named J.J. Freeman over the best path forward for the firm in effecting political and legal change.”
