The committee reviews fuel prices monthly and liberalized petrol prices in 2015 to follow global trends. In August, petrol and diesel prices were raised to their highest levels in months, in line with global rates. Brent crude is trading at $84.70 a barrel, roughly the same level since the start of this month.
