you found? good morning, thanks so much for having me. i think the paragraph you picked out is very apt. what we re talking about is a shift in decades of economic policy towards china. you know, since the end of the cold war, the u.s. has been very eager to encourage the technological development of other countries and let our companies go abroad and take advantage of that. so, in the chinese case, we encourage them to develop their semiconductors, their microchip capabilities, really, all of their economic capabilities over the years. it s just in the past few years that the biden administration first, the obama administration and trump and biden had started to rethink that because of china s trade practices. so, this fall and going into the winter, we started to see some pretty dramatic actions from the biden administration to crack down on some of those chinese economic policies. the first one being a very strict rule from the commerce department. limiting the sale of
