Taillon, who’s battled seemingly never-ending serious injuries while with the Pittsburgh Pirates – and who had treatment four years ago for testicular cancer – was signed by the New York Yankees in the off-season, and ESPN earlier this week reported that sources with the team say he’s “throwing with exceptional control” and appears to be ready for training camp that’s just around the corner.
