On December 16th, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at knifepoint. The vehicle was found a short time after it had struck a tree, and two suspects fled the scene. At his preliminary hearing in Fort Qu’Appelle, 36-year-old Tyson Keshane pled guilty to the lesser charge of Motor Vehicle Theft, and was sentenced to six months in jail.

Last Wednesday, police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at knifepoint. The vehicle was found a short time after it had struck a tree, and two suspects fled the scene. 36-year-old Tyson Keshane will return to Fort Qu’Appelle Court on January 21st.

Vehicle stolen at knife point: Fort Qu Appelle RCMP

With the assistance from the RCMP Police Dog Service, a 36 year old male was taken into custody. Tyson Keshane of Keeseekoose First Nation has been charged with Robbery with an Offensive Weapon. Keshane appeared at Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court on Thursday December 17, 2020 and was remanded into custody to Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court on December 21, 2020. The RCMP are continuing to investigate the identity of the second suspect with assistance from the Forensic Identification Services.
