STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. The NYPD is asking for the public’s help to identify a man sought for questioning in connection with a bank robbery in New Dorp on Tuesday and two other heists on the East Shore of Staten Island.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A man passed a note to a Northfield Bank teller in New Dorp Tuesday morning that threatened of a weapon before fleeing with a few hundred dollars, a law enforcement source told the Advance/SILive.com.
Police responded to the bank, located at 2706 Hylan Blvd. near Ebbitts Street in the Tysens Park Shopping Center, at around 11:25 a.m., according to preliminary information from a spokeswoman for the NYPD.
