A Lexington man with outstanding warrants for habitual assault was arrested for allegedly shooting at a woman in a car on Monday with the intent to kill or injure her.
Edward Tyronne Knox, 38, of Kildee Drive in Lexington, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill or inflict serious injury, discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle and misdemeanor communicating threats.

In addition to the charges connected to the shooting incident, Knox was given a $1 million bond for failure to appear in court on charges of habitual assault.
