25-year-old charged with murder, carjacking in shooting death of father of 2

SOUTHFIELD, MI – A 25-year-old man is facing charges in the shooting death and carjacking of a 48-year-old father of two who was arriving at home when he was attacked last month, FOX 2 Detroit reports.
Fredrick Hudson, 48, of Southfield, was shot in the chest and thigh while in his driveway on the evening of Dec. 28, 2020; he died of his injuries at a local hospital, MLive previously reported. The suspect fled the scene in Hudson’s 2013 Toyota Tundra pickup truck. Hudson’s wife, Ebony Hudson and their children - ages 11 and 19 - were inside the home when the incident occurred.

(WXYZ) â Southfield police say a man has been arrested and charged in relation to a carjacking and shooting death of a man late last month.
Police say they arrived at the home around 8 p.m. and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the driveway of the home.
Police identified and later arrested Tyron Miguel Turner Jr.
The Oakland County Prosecutor s Office has charged Turner with felony murder, felony firearms and carjacking. He is being held without bond.
