DICKINSON The Dickinson Midgets basketball teams fell to Western Dakota Association's powerhouse Century Patriots on Tuesday evening. Both the boys and girls varsity teams struggled to keep up with the Patriots' consistent scoring, falling 100-66 and 67-49 respectively.
Among genuine outside threats this season, Dickinson High School appears to be among the "best in class" and is unquestionably poised for a more productive season on the offensive side of the ball. Since 2008, the Midgets have consistently caused trouble in the Western Dakota Association for teams that are unable to cope with Dickinson’s unique offensive system. Entering the season, Midget’s head coach Dan Glasser says his team is ready to leave it all on the court and are zero in on a Class A state qualifying season.
