Rachel Lee, of Uncasville, is happy to be dining out again, especially since her son Paul Lewis, of Oakdale, is planning on taking her out to dinner for Mother s Day.
It s great that we are able to go out again and I can hug my son, Lee said.
With Mother’s Day coming Sunday, and the end of many of Connecticut s remaining COVID-19 business restrictions May 19th, local restaurants are expecting moderate to busy turnouts.
Olde Tymes Restaurant owner Rodney Green isn’t expecting a huge difference in the number of guests that come to his restaurant compared to any given Sunday, except that the line out the door might be a bit larger.
