A Davenport woman has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old Illinois girl. The woman is accused of helping the shooter, Marshawn Jackson, flee to a Davenport motel after the shooting last July.
The 19-year-old charged with fatally shooting a 15-year-old girl in Cedar Rapids last summer was on probation for trafficking a stolen gun. He had received a deferred judgment a month before the deadly shooting.
A Cedar Rapids man who has been charged with first-degree murder in relation to the shooting death of a 15-year-old is being held on a $1 million cash-only bond at the Linn County Jail.
