Photo by Lauren Lyons/Studio Lab CONCORD, NH – Local film producers say the nascent film industry in New Hampshire is poised to attract big business, but an effort by the governor to eliminate the New Hampshire Film and Television Office’s $123,000 annual budget could make that more difficult.  The way it works now, when a major motion picture or TV show wants to find a location to film a scene or the whole story, states compete for the privilege, with incentives like tax credits and assistance like prepared lists of potential locations, attracting sometimes millions of dollars in local spending.

Record set in Germantown home sale | Nashville Post

Assessor of Property A Davidson County Register of Deeds document notes a residence at Luxus Germantown has sold for $1.35 million seemingly setting a per-foot record price for a townhome or a freestanding residence in the North Nashville district. The sale is the equivalent of about $512 per foot. With an address of 415 Monroe St., the single-family home spans 2,638 square feet. The sellers were Cindy Creason and Robert Creason, who paid about $969,000 for the property in December 2014, according to Metro records. The new owner is Neil King, information about whom the Post was unable to determine. The previous per-foot record for Germantown was set in March 2018, when a 1,806-square-foot residence at 1234 Fifth Ave. N., also at Luxus Germantown, sold for $745,000, the equivalent of about $413 per square foot.
