A Gowrie man was arrested for first-degree robbery Tuesday after police say he broke into a residence with a gun Jan. 4, where another assailant shot one resident.
Fort Dodge police said Ashton Lomicka, 21, broke into a home in the 2000 block of South 12th Street with a handgun to commit theft, alongside two others. According to police, he then held one victim at gunpoint while the others went through his pockets.
As the three assailants fled the scene, police said one of the other assailants, Tyler Rosburg, shot the victim in the abdomen.
Fort Dodge defendants Rosburg, 29, and Davaris Shivers, 17, were previously charged with first-degree robbery for their role in the case.

A car accident was reported at Seventh Avenue North and North 11th Street.
A suspicious person was reported near South 25th Street and 11th Avenue South.
