The celebrations have been going on all night all over the world. Fireworks celebrations lit up the skies above manila. Right now an estimated 200,000 people are ready for the big show to ring in the new year here in San Francisco. Abc7 is live with more. Good evening, carolyn. Tonight we witnessed something a little different. A political protest as a new years eve celebration. Around 100 people marched down market street. And at one point they shut it down. This is affecting more than 6,000 pg e customers in Discovery Bay and byron. Pg e says the recent cold weather caused the outage that could last into tomorrow night.
