Keep Asking scored an impressive breakthrough victory as he circled the field to win the $108,200 New York Sire Stakes for two-year-old male trotters and equal the divisional track record at Vernon Downs on Friday, Aug. 18.
On Monday afternoon (Aug. 14) at Monticello Raceway, fans witnessed the fastest mile ever for a two-year-old trotter, regardless of sex, in the track’s storied 65-year history when filly Senorita Palema won her New York Sire Stakes division in 1:56.4.
