Charleston last week. Yesterday, South Carolinas governor called for the flags removal. Nikki haley was surrounded by lawmakers and civil rights leaders. Our correspondent ana cabrera is joining us from Columbia South carolina, the state capital. Ana, you were there for the protest today. Is there a sense that the lawmakers are now listening to the calls to remove the flag and that that will happen any time soon . Well we do understand they plan to introduce legislation as they get back together here within the next few minutes in order to call this issue of removing the flag as part of this sessions agenda. Now, they have to add some specific amendments to the current agenda in order to do that. Were understanding that the most likely scenario to play out is that they will vote on adding that legislation. That is likely to pass. Still takes twothirds majority though, to add that to this years session. And then they would likely later set up a time to come back this summer in the days

I do not know whether the Texas Supreme Court made the correct decision in denying Kate Cox an emergency, late-term abortion, and unless you are a physician, neither do you. Attorneys for Cox, already a mother of two, argued she should be granted an exception to the Lone Star State's near-total abortion ban under its provision for the life of the mother. The state Supreme Court threw out a lower court ruling siding with Cox, arguing that her attorneys did not prove she was in "life-threatening physical condition." Reasonable people could argue either side, and pro-lifers who consider Cox incorrect should emphasize and educate in their responses if they wish to share one.
