Lighthouse Strategies the company behind Cannabiniers and the Two Roots line of CBD- and THC-infused non-alcoholic craft beers – is closing in on its next brewery acquisition. Speaking to Brewbound, CEO and chairman Michael Hayford said the company could finalize the purchase of a craft beer company in the Great Lakes region of the U.S. before the end of June.

Former Constellation Brands executive Marty Birkel has joined the board of directors at Cannabiniers, the cannabis company behind the Two Roots line of THC- and CBD-infused non-alcoholic craft beers. Birkel, who officially departed Constellation earlier this year, had most recently served as the president of the company’s craft and specialty division.
SAN DIEGO Non-alcoholic craft beer brewing pioneer Two Roots Brewing Co.™ announced today its continued expansion across the United States with product now sold in Massachusetts. The company has signed an agreement with local wholesalers Craft Beer Guild, L. Knife & Sons, and Seaboard Products, to cover the entire State. Retailers are currently placing orders and will have product on shelf before the end of the month.

Ron Goodson, who took the reins at San Diego-based Lighthouse Strategies last month, was also confirmed as CEO of alcohol-free beer brewer Two Roots yesterday. Goodson, who started with Lighthouse as a part-time board member in late-2019, spent 35 years with PepsiCo, raising to the level of GM before leaving the group in 2018.
Details of who Goodson has replaced at Two Roots were not disclosed.
