Olney, IL, USA / WSEI Freedom 92.9 FM | The Best Country in America Dec 28, 2020 7:48 AM (OLNEY) Two Olney women are dead after a single vehicle crash into a local business this past Saturday night at approximately 7:49 in Olney. The Illinois State Police reports 60 year old Michael W. Mattox of Dundas was traveling westbound on West North Avenue in Olney when his pick up truck proceeded through the intersection with South West Street (Illinois Route 130), veered off the roadway to the right and struck the outdoor patio portion of the Duece’s Wild Saloon. Two female pedestrians standing on the patio were struck and were pronounced deceased on the scene, including 69 year old Judy L. Jourdan and 48 year old DeAnn C. Richardson. Mattox was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. He was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence, for no valid driver’s license, and for improper lane usage.
