Gardai are investigating the man s death
The cops continue to treat the case as “unexplained”, but they do not believe his death was natural or self-inflicted.
One line of inquiry gardai are following is that the man may have been involved in a physical altercation at some stage before he died and whether or not that could have contributed to his sudden death.
POST-MORTEM
The dead man, aged in his 50s, was last seen alive on Monday evening.
A post-mortem was carried out on Thursday, the results of which are not being made public.
A source said: “It’s still an unexplained death. But there are circumstances that gardai have concern over.”
