The Kenyan police have arrested a suspect in the killing of 25-year-old LGBTQ rights activist Edwin Chiloba, who was found dead by the roadside on Wednesday (January 4) around 40 kilometres outside the Rift Valley town of Eldoret. Police discovered his body stuffed in a metal trunk. Speaking to reporters on Friday (January 6), Peter Kimulwo, head of investigations at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) office in Eldoret, said the suspect is in custody and his role in the murder is being investigated.
