My name is Joel Engardio. Please, vote Joel Engardio on your ballot. Hello. My name is Steven Martin pinto, and i hope to be your next district 7 supervisor. My family has lived here since 1848. I have been involved in local politics ever since i moved back after leaving the military in 2014. Ive served as president of the sunnyside neighborhood association, secretary of the west of twin peaks central council, and commissioner of veterans affairs. Im different from anyone else running in the entire city. Honesty, straight talk, availability, and common sense. When was the last time you hear anyone mention those as themes of their campaign. When i decided to run, i decided to always tell the truth and never hold back. As supervisor, i plan to take a bold stance on the issues. First of all, i will have a see ror tolerance policy for crime, garbage, and drug dealing on our streets, and that position is nonnegotiatable. Second, i will audit all the nonprofits that do business with the city
Little bit better than yesterday as far as their quality goes 50s and 60s for current temperatures with dublin at 58 right now oakland and concord in the low 60s. Brush fire in the nice of the names start ripping and i was like okay, thats real. Reporter with jobs and 20 engines, it was kept at 10 acres and some minor exterior damage to homes but no permanent damage. The mayor says hes always worried about the fire potential of that hill. That hill gets dry pretty quickly up there because of the vegetation and all of those wonderful trees, eucalyptus and pine. They are beautiful, but the content is a lot of oil, a lot of burning material so we always worry about that. Reporter a carpenter was 15 it away when he got a call from his housemates that they were evacuating. Probably the last thing i expected today. This is probably the last place that is going to happen. When will fire crews finally gave the all clear . Use of the fire is out. Reporter it is out and contained at this point but we do have some wind here in the city of south San Francisco, right now theyre hoping to get those evacuees, there are still evacuation orders in place, back to
