Seven Keefer Crossing Middle School students were hospitalized after consuming THC-laced gummies, which tested positive, and are now in stable condition.
The Florida Poison Information Center (FPIC) said marijuana-based gummies pose a health risk for kids, a day parents were stunned after six students at Twin Lakes Academy Middle School became sick after eating a gummy substance.
According to school officials, a student brought the gummy substance to school and shared it with classmates during class time. Reports indicate that at least six students consumed the gummies, prompting concerns about the nature of the substance.
