democrats that pushed through the payroll tax cut. well, actually in december, the republicans in the house voted to extend it for a year, with 100 billion in reduced spending. it was obama who didn t want to reduce spending who balked, and the democrats only extended it two months. this idea the republicans weren t for extending it, they actually passed the bill. in december, it was a democratic senate and democratic president that balked. why? they didn t want to reduce spending, wanted to raise taxes instead. that s the difference between the two parties. are you upset the republicans agreed to this because it is not paid for? i am certainly in favor of extending for another year the fica tax holiday, and better to do that than not, and the republican position was we d rather have it paid for with less spending, but obama doesn t want to do that. we have to fight obama and his spending in this next election. that s what the next election is
