The new electric scooter will have a digital instrument cluster which will provide the owners with multiple features including Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity.
While electric two-wheeler sales peaked in May this year, crossing the 100,000 mark, the volume had plummeted to under 46,000 units in June. However, strong general interest towards turning electric, coupled with the still available (albeit reduced) subsidy, has helped July volumes to recover to 54,292 units. This is expected to help sales volume to reach 750,000-800,000 units in calendar year 2023.

TVS has shared a teaser of its upcoming electric scooter, the Creon, which is expected to rival Ather 450X, Simple One and Ola S1 Pro. The teaser shows a vertical headlight of the upcoming e-scooter, which is expected to have a sporty design. TVS is likely to launch Creon on August 23, although the details of its specification, price and availability have still not been revealed.
