reason for the season. that is about the birth of christ. and, maybe it s because we always get this time of year everybody watching gets the same thing, you know, those pictures of the families from all of our friends across the country and you see how big the kids have gotten and how the families are getting along and you start to think about whether or not you have done a good job this past year. not only with your own family but elsewhere. and then you start thinking about charity. you notice this time of year? you seem to give out more money. the guy at the bucket winds up with a 5 rather than a 1. sometimes i wonder if it s because, you know, remember the tv show sesame street and they used to sing that song, you know, the christmas feeling all through the year. i wish we could have that feeling that we have right now all year long. wouldn t that be great? of course at christmas and all year long we are also thankful for those who serve and protect us to keep us free and safe.
