TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - Diera Jones has experienced the pain of being hit by a car as well as the pain of losing a child from the crash.
Now, she calls waiting for the driver to go to trial, an additional burden.
âI have been waiting for justice for my son for two and a half years,â Jones told WBRC Thursday.
Diera Jones called waiting for her day in court almost as bad the terrible accident that cost Jones her three year-old son Jacob Jones.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - From Tuscaloosa PD: A Tuscaloosa man arrested on gun and drug charges in 2018 has been sentenced to serve 10 years in federal prison.
Antonio Montez Denson, 33, pleaded guilty to unlawful transport of firearms by a convicted felon on Jan. 28.
U.S. District Judge Scott Coogler sentenced him to serve 120 months in prison at a sentencing hearing in Tuscaloosa.
Denson is still facing state charges in relation to the incident that occurred in December 2018.
