Today at 1 30, police say some Staff Members came forward and told them some students are come forward and told them a 14 yearold 14 yearold 8th grader told them not to come to school because he was going to shoot the school up. A 13 yearold said he would supply the weapon said he would supply the weapon. Both students were arrested. The 13 yearold releaseed to his parents, but the 14 yearold was held and take ton a juvenile facility in lowell. We are told the police searched his homes and did not find any guns. But they say it doesnt matter with the threats of school violence. The chief telling me the student that made the threat had an obsession with mass shootings. It doesnt matter what you say is intended as a joke, merely making the statement is a threat and its an arrestable offense. We are not going to tolerate those kinds of statements.
