On Friday, Sobeys issued a recall on Sunrise brand Grade A fresh turkeys between five and eight kilograms in weight with a best before date of Oct. 11.
Butterball, under the brand names Farm to Family and Kroger, has recalled around 14,000 pounds of ground turkey that could contain small pieces of hard blue plastic.
