already happened. there are communities in massachusetts and connecticut that are implemented moratoriums on new turf fields. some sates have legislation that would ban outright new turf fields. philadelphia still has quite a few or at least a handful of turf fields in the city and are looking at adding some new ones to a city park. i think simultaneously, there s becoming an increasing amount of awareness around these chemicals and the fact that they are linked to a large number of very real human health risks. so i think there s going to be a lot of conversation around this, you know, artificial turf and how we use it and whether it s a good idea to keep putting it in places where children are playing. obviously, i m going to between out the whole story so people can read it.

As current Chair of the Trust, I wanted to experience it, as a tourist would, by walking the full length and staying at local establishments.
