HANOI (Vietnam News/ANN): FECON Corporation has started trial operation of the first tunnel boring machine (TBM) to serve Hanoi s Urban Railway project No 3.
A representative of the corporation said the second TBM has been assembled at about 60 per cent of capacity to enhance the work.
The machine will start boring from S9 or Kim Mã station to S12 or Hanoi station at the end of Trần Hưng Đạo Street with a total length of 4km.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget 2021-22 in Lok Sabha on Monday. It is the ninth budget presented by the Narendra Modi-led Union government. Sitharaman today proposed a sharp rise in capital expenditure for the next fiscal to Rs 5.54 lakh crore, from Rs 4.39 lakh crore in the current financial year. However, Sitharaman s budget did not bring any relief to the middle class as income tax slabs remain unchanged.
