The Cadillac Series 62 is one of those cars that don’t pop out on today’s custom market as much, even if technically it has all it takes to become a proper base for a worthwhile project. That’s probably why in the rare instances a special one does come under the spotlight, it’s guaranteed to catch the eye.
The degree of comfort and ultimately functionality of a motorhome can only ever be sidelined if there’s something else about it that catches the eye. With the Thunderbird 2, that would be its striking design, which, in turns, brings heaps of ‘60s nostalgia with it.
Ah, flames of various colors and extent painted on the body of a car. History is not entirely sure who first came up with the idea that painting flames is a cool way to advertise one’s customizing talents, but the reality remains that not long ago, and for a number of years, you weren’t cool if your ride wasn’t engulfed in this visual-only fire.
Better late to the party than never. That is probably the punchline as far as Ford’s 2021 Bronco is concerned, considering all its delays. But it is not the Blue Oval’s doing this time around.
