The Nigerian Defence Headquarters, Abuja, has said that it will court-martial two personnel for being responsible for the air strike at Tundun Biri in Kaduna State on December 3, 2023. During the accidental air strike, 85 people at a religious celebration were killed and dozens of others injured. The air strike which the Nigerian military claimed, was a mistake, hit people who gathered for Maulud, a Muslim religious event, in the Tundun Biri community in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
