JOSEPH OLAOLUWA delves into the business of hawking in the ever-present Lagos traffic
For Ernest James, his hands are his shop. Since he started selling motivational books in 2015, he has never thought of renting a shop.
But before he leaves his house at Mafoloku every morning, he says two prayers: that there should be heavy traffic at Ikeja along and other parts of Lagos that have become his stores.
“God has been answering my prayers. From the proceeds of my sales, I feed my family and send my children to school. But it is not easy, I take pain relief medicines because we are constantly exposed to the sun” he said in an interview with The PUNCH.
