MELAKA: Twenty-two candidates from Melaka's "haunted mansion" school have emerged as top scorers in the Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) 2022 examination.
MELAKA: The condition of the Tun Fatimah Form Six College in Durian Daun here is so bad that it resembles a "haunted mansion", says its Parents and Teacher Association (PTA).

Two schools have been ordered to close temporarily due to recent Covid-19 infections involving both students and teachers.
So far, one school in Terengganu and a Form Six college in Melaka have been affected based on reports.

The state’s Health Department (JKNT) has directed Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Sulaiman 1 to close for 14 days until February 5 after eight teachers were confirmed positive for Covid-19.
State Health Director, Dr Nor Azimi Yunus, when confirming the matter, said the closure was done in accordance with Section 18 (1), (d), Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 (Act 332) to prevent epidemic infections.
