A WOMAN has reached her wits’ end as she feels her complaints about a pavement that frequently floods are not being listened to by the council. Veronica Thomas uses the path from the Tump Inn in Wormelow to the post office to walk her dog, Tommy, but cannot get along it after heavy rain causes flooding. She blames Herefordshire Council for not fixing drains in the area, which she says are ineffective in wet weather. Having lived in the nearby Tump Lane all her life, Miss Thomas moved to the village in 2016 and quickly reported the issue to the council. But four years on, nothing has been done.
