Citing the financial hardships brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Holyoke Community College Board of Trustees unanimously voted Tuesday to freeze student fees for the 2021-2022 academic year.
“This demonstrates our concern for the success of our students. They depend on us, and freezing costs when they’re facing grave economic uncertainty is the right thing to do,” board chair Robert Gilbert said.
