Tuftonboro Town Meeting postponed to May 15
February 11, 2021TUFTONBORO Registered voters in Tuftonboro may elect officers by absentee/mail-in ballot or in person on March 9 from 8 7 p.m. at Tuftonboro Central School. However, instead of participating in Town Meeting the following evening as usual, Moderator Dan Barnard, in consultation with Town Clerk Jennifer Coulter and the Board of Selectmen, has directed that the meeting be postponed to Saturday, May 15, at 9 a.m., at Davis Field at the Tuftonboro Central School.
The decision was based on the New Hampshire Attorney General s guidance that fears of a coronavirus spread was justification for postponing such an event.
