It was another day with a wide range in temps from north to south… with northern parts of the viewing area being about 20-degrees cooler than the south.
Tuesday High Temps
This is all thanks to a frontal boundary sitting just to the south of La Crosse and this front will be the focal point for scattered showers and t-storms tonight as it gradually shifts south/east. Expect lows in the 40s for most.

It was another bitterly cold morning across the region, with lows in the -10s and -20s for many and wind chills in the -20F to -35F range. It wasn’t quite as cold today though with highs in the teens, under a mix of sun and high clouds.
Tuesday High Temps
Partly cloudy and still cold tonight, but not AS cold as the past several nights. Low temps will generally be in the single digits to low teens below zero. Traditional colder spots north and east could dip to around -20F though. Winds will generally be 5 mph or less, so wind chills won’t be much colder than actual air temps. In fact, no wind chill advisory is in effect for our area tonight for the first time in a week and a half!
